Maria Moreira
Maria Moreira is a film director and producer with a bachelor’s degree from ESAP and a master’s degree in Film from UCP. Her work focuses on documentary filmmaking and real-life stories. She directed Sónia (2022), which premiered at IndieLisboa, and the series (IN)VISIBLE for Canal180. In 2025, she received the Pascaud–Filmaporto Grant to develop Meio-Tom. In 2026, she co-directed Abril, Helena's daughter, winner of the Brand New Award and the MUTIM Award. She also works in production, programming, and cultural mediation.
