Patrícia Saramago

Patrícia Saramago was born in Lisbon in 1975 and passed away in 2025, during the post-production of her first short film. She graduated from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. She worked primarily as a film editor, signing the editing of several nationally and internationally acclaimed and award-winning films. Among the many directors she collaborated with are Pedro Costa, Rita Azevedo Gomes, Sérgio Tréfaut, Miguel Gonçalves Mendes, and João Onofre, among others. Some of these films premiered at the Cannes, Venice, and Locarno film festivals, where they received numerous prestigious awards.
