Victor Hugooli

Victor Hugooli is a self-taught Portuguese-Brazilian filmmaker who creates audiovisual work focused on processes guided by listening, the ethics of care, and responsibility toward the image. He directed Ensaio da Loucura (2024) and co-directed Abril, Helena´s daughter (2026), a documentary that won the Brand New Award at IndieLisboa 2026. In 2026, he was selected for the IndieLisboa Lab and the international DIP laboratory, where he develops new projects and creative methodologies.
